We close every worship service with the song Safe Passage.

It came to us years ago from our membership chair’s home church, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fresno, California. We sang it in circle in our little red church, and since April of 2020 we have been singing it on Zoom, with our microphones open, producing a joyful but quite unmusical cacophony.

In the fall of 2020, we got the permission of the composer, Rev. Mary Grigolia, for Lea Morris to arrange and produce it for a virtual choir of members and friends of UUG. Now we play this recording at the end of our virtual services, and sing along with our microphones muted.

We have their permission to let any UU congregation use this recording in virtual worship. With gratitude to all involved, here is Safe Passage performed by members and friends of UUG:
